Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival at Mumbai Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and a short rest, proceed for a half-day heritage tour of Mumbai. Visit the iconic Gateway of India overlooking the Arabian Sea, admire the magnificent architecture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, and drive along the famous Marine Drive. Explore the historic Kala Ghoda Art District and other colonial-era landmarks that reflect Mumbai's rich cultural heritage.

In the evening, enjoy leisure time for shopping or local exploration before returning to the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, proceed to the Gateway of India jetty to board a ferry to Elephanta Island. Explore the UNESCO-listed Elephanta Caves, renowned for their magnificent rock-cut sculptures dedicated to Lord Shiva. Marvel at the famous Trimurti sculpture and intricate carvings dating back several centuries.

Return to Mumbai by ferry and spend the remainder of the day exploring local markets or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Aurangabad by flight, train, or road (as per package selection).

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and later visit Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the "Mini Taj of the Deccan." Continue to Panchakki, an ancient water mill showcasing medieval engineering excellence. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 4

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Ellora Caves, one of India's most impressive UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Explore the remarkable complex comprising Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain cave temples carved directly into rock cliffs.

Witness the magnificent Kailasa Temple, considered one of the largest monolithic rock-cut temples in the world. Later, visit the historic Daulatabad Fort, known for its ingenious defense systems and strategic hilltop location.

Return to Aurangabad in the evening.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, proceed to the world-famous Ajanta Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled amidst a horseshoe-shaped gorge, the caves feature exquisite Buddhist paintings, sculptures, and murals dating from the 2nd century BCE to the 6th century CE.

Spend the day exploring the artistic masterpieces that depict the life and teachings of Lord Buddha. The detailed frescoes and sculptures make Ajanta one of the finest examples of ancient Indian art.

Return to Aurangabad in the evening.

Day 6

After breakfast, enjoy a day dedicated to exploring the lesser-known heritage attractions around Aurangabad. Visit local museums, ancient gates of the old city, and traditional handicraft centers. Guests may also opt for a visit to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, located near Ellora.

The remainder of the day can be spent shopping for Paithani sarees, Himroo shawls, and local handicrafts.
